NRA BASIC PISTOL/ OHIO CONCEALED CARRY
About this course.
This course is taught by various NRA certified instructors at Iron Sight Armory. The course is full 8 hours. (6 in the classroom and 2 hours on the range) You will get have a full understanding of the greater responsibility you have if you choose to carry a gun and the reality of self defense.

About The Instructor
Philip Lucarell has been a firearms enthusiast for over 25 years. He always enjoyed bringing people into the shooting sports. In 2012 he became an NRA instructor and started to put more time into teaching basic pistol classes with a focus on strong fundamentals and safety Phil’s classes are relaxed and fun, while still being practical. Besides being a firearms instructor, Phil is also a state certified firefighter/paramedic. He brings 17 years of experience as an added safety feature to his classes.

Advanced CCW / Home Defense Tactics
Prerequisite – CCW holder or previous instruction with documentation required
About this course.
This is a theory based course that we have organized designed around our experience through training competitive shooting, and carrying a firearm daily. It is structured to make the student think about the seriousness and importance of carrying a firearm. Upon completion, you will gain proficiency in malfunctions, one handed shooting, movement and mindset awareness. Scenarios will be structured and the student will learn to problem solve under stress. This course has 1 – 2 hours of lecture and 6 – 8 hours of live fire.

Notebook, firearm, at least 3 magazines, holster, magazine pouch, 500 rounds, eye and ear protection
